Denitrification filter process package

SY-DF Denitrification Deep Bed Filter is a gravity flow biofilter that integrates filtration and denitrification, achieving effective removal of suspended solids (SS) and nitrate ammonia (NOx-N) in one treatment unit. The filter bed uses 2-3mm natural quartz sand as the filtration medium, providing a good attachment environment for the growth of biofilm. Denitrifying bacteria use an external carbon source as the electron donor and nitrate nitrogen as the electron acceptor to convert nitrate nitrogen into nitrogen gas, which not only efficiently deammonizes but also effectively improves the retention efficiency of SS. TN ≤ 3mg/L, SS ≤ 5mg/L, TP ≤ 0.3mg/L in the effluent, easily reaching the surface level of Class IV effluent.
