The core technology primarily utilizes reverse osmosis (RO). The operating principle is: seawater is pre-treated to remove large particles such as suspended matter and algae. High-pressure pumps then apply immense pressure exceeding its natural osmotic pressure to the seawater, forcing water molecules through the extremely small pores of the reverse osmosis membrane. Impurities such as salt, minerals, and bacteria are effectively trapped and removed, resulting in pure fresh water.
